Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic means 'done by hand' and is a very safe and effective natural therapy. Chiropractors are highly trained in a wide range of diagnostic and treatment techniques. We are also qualified to take and read x-rays and have state of the art digital x-ray facilities.

Chiropractic is a primary health care profession that specialises in; the diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of musculo-skeletal conditions.

In the UK, Chiropractors are state registered, undergo a minimum of four years degree training and graduates are then required to fulfil a further year of training before they can become fully qualified with the Royal College of Chiropractors.

The chiropractors at this clinic are always striving to increase and update their clinical knowledge and attend many additional courses to learn and bring you the most up to date treatments possible.

The clinic stands for efficient diagnosis, effective and honest treatment.

  • Offers the highest quality holistic care to tens of thousands of patients.
  • Established in 1981 and run since 1992 by Andrea Lucchetti, the clinic has been developed into a five chiropractor, multi-disciplinary center.
  • Focused on patient centered treatment programmes.
  • A hands-on approach to influencing function through chiropractic care, in-house rehabilitation and home exercise programmes.
  • We promote a holistic approach to patient health, where non-invasive treatment should be the first treatment option.
  • Treating the cause before the symptoms; this may include assessing lifestyle, nutritional and emotional issues.
  • Working with our patients to achieve the best care possible, believing that a pro-active multi-disciplinary approach is often the key to the most effective patient management. To achieve this, we work closely with the other health professionals in the practice.

Clinic Specialisms

Western Medical Acupuncture

All of our chiropractors are certified in WMA and may use this method (with your permission) to complement your treatment regime.

  • Western medical acupuncture (WMA) commonly referred to as dry needling, is a very popular technique used in modern day healthcare.
  • The technique is an adaption of eastern acupuncture using current knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology.
  • The technique along with eastern acupuncture uses ultrafine needles being inserted through the skin and briefly being left in position.
  • While in position there can be manual or lower voltage electrical stimulation to assist the process.
  • The main goal of WMA is to relax muscles down and help release your body's natural healing hormones.

The main difference between WMA and traditional Chinese acupuncture is that WMA does not involve the traditional concepts such as Yin/Yang and circulation of "qi. The view of WMA is that the needles stimulate the skin muscle and nerve tissue to stimulate your body's natural healing response.

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS).

We believe we are currently the only back-pain clinic in East Anglia providing expertise in this spinal rehabilitation approach.
